At Terra Plata, you’ll find a menu that is both daring and comforting. As soon as you step through the doors, the atmosphere envelops you; it’s warm and inviting with a touch of rustic elegance. For dinner, don't miss out on their stunning seafood selection, with Mussels & Clams ($30.00) that boast a delectable blend of brininess and freshness. The Sockeye ($46.00) and Rainbow Trout ($42.00) both provide an exquisite taste of the ocean, impeccably prepared to highlight the natural flavors.

If you’re in the mood for something shareable, their Pintxos/Tapas selection is sure to please. Indulge in the Truffle Chips ($16.00), dusted with truffle salt and paired with a luscious chive crème fraîche. The Calamari ($21.00) served with a Spanish red sauce and roasted garlic aioli is another crowd favorite, showcasing a delightful crunch paired with bold flavors. As one satisfied customer, Paula O., put it, the Manila clams with pork were “absolutely delicious — perfectly cooked with rich, savory flavor.”

For those who enjoy dining al fresco, the rooftop patio provides a gorgeous setting to savor your meal, especially on warm days, as noted by many patrons. James enjoyed this feature, remarking on the amazing outdoor atmosphere that hits the right notes during summer. However, be aware that during peak times, service may occasionally lag, as mentioned by some guests. While the kitchen works hard to prepare exquisite dishes, some reviews have pointed to the service being slightly underwhelming at times.

The charm of Terra Plata lies in its ability to create unforgettable meals that leave guests on a foodie high. Customer 'Alexander Hume' described a dish of biscuits and gravy with fried chicken thigh as life-changing, reflecting the elevated comfort food experience patrons can find at this establishment. This restaurant’s dedication to quality and taste, combined with its inviting atmosphere, certainly make it a must-visit for both locals and visitors alike.

With a list of tantalizing dishes and a vibrant setting, Terra Plata is more than just a stop for a meal; it’s an experience that will beckon you to return. Make your reservations, bring your friends, and prepare to enjoy a uniquely Seattle dining adventure that you won’t soon forget.

Visited for short time with friends just for quick drinks and loved Strawberry Rhubarb Sour Ale; it had slight hint of strawberry flavor there with overall good focus on fruity taste that is also very well balanced with sour part of the taste. I am going to revisit this place even just for that sour ale, but most likely gonna try their food menu too cause I’m curious.

The food at Terra Plata is very good, and the recipes and kitchen staff are without a doubt the reason this restaurant is successful. The outdoor space is also very enjoyable. However, there are noticeable deficiencies when it comes to the service. I booked Terra Plata for a work dinner with a few colleagues, and we were genuinely excited to dine there. One of my coworkers, a local, mentioned that while the food is excellent, they had experienced lackluster service in the past. We both hoped it had been a one-time thing. When we arrived, the evening started strong. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the food, as expected, was excellent. We ordered drinks and appetizers, but it took quite a while for our bottle of wine to arrive. After our appetizers were served, no one checked back with us, despite us being ready to order our entrées at any time. Nearly 45 minutes into our 7:00 PM reservation for a group of seven, a server finally came by only to abruptly inform us that the kitchen was closing soon and if we wanted anything else, we needed to order immediately. It made us feel rushed and unwelcome, especially after having been left unattended for so long. Shortly after, our original server informed us they were leaving for the night and that another staff member would be taking over. The entrées, once they arrived, were strong. The steak was delicious (though a bit too spicy for one member of our party), and the appetizers were memorable. However, the service experience does not match the exceptional quality of the cuisine. Despite receiving a confirmation via text that our reservation would allow for a two-hour dining window, we were hurried through the meal and made to feel like an afterthought. If Terra Plata is not willing or able to fully accommodate 7:00 PM reservations, they should not offer them. It is disappointing to be treated as though we overstayed our welcome when we simply expected the service experience that should accompany a confirmed reservation. Having worked in restaurants earlier in my career, it is clear to me that Terra Plata has a major opportunity to align their guest service with the incredible food being served. Until they address these service shortcomings, I can only recommend it as a great place for a glass of wine and appetizers, rather than a full dinner experience.

I had a fantastic experience at Terra Plata! I ordered the Manila clams with pork, and they were absolutely delicious — perfectly cooked with a rich, savory flavor. The prices felt pretty average for Seattle, but what really made the visit special was the rooftop seating. On a warm day, it’s the perfect spot to enjoy great food with a view. I’ll definitely be back!

We ordered French toast, croque madame and a couple of coffees. Food was delicious, rich in flavor with good portions. The coffee was good too, with non-dairy milk available. Would definitely recommend as a great brunch place for adults. If you have kids (maybe aged 10 and below) with you, be prepared to sit at the back of the restaurant, near the restrooms. Place was pretty empty when we arrived, 2 families with kids were directed to the back while adult only groups seems to be seated away from them or quite randomly (but still away from the kids).

This place has a very nice outdoor patio which really hits during summer - although the seats can be a bit cramped, the atmosphere is great Our group ordered a ton of different appetizers, before having three paellas to share Out of the seven appetizers we had, my favorite had to be the focaccia. it was incredibly soft, fluffy, and I could eat it fully on its own without any dipping sauce needed. I also enjoyed the albacore crudo. The rest I was kind of mixed on. The baguette was far too chewy for me, and the truffled potato chips were begging for salt that just wasn't there. The peppers had the opposite problem, where by themselves they were good, but the sauce didn't really taste like anything. For our mains, we ordered two mixto paellas - coming with chicken, chorizo, shrimp, clams, mussels, and rice, and a vegetarian paella These paellas were massive. They were $55 each, but I think one could easily feed 3 different people. There was so much rice, meat, and vegetables involved They also lived up to it taste-wise - as these paellas were easily the best part of the overall meal. Even excluding the meat, the combination of the saffron rice and braised sofrita was delectable. The amount of flavor being held by each grain coated by the sauce is what really makes this dish special. The meats being good made it even better. I loved the mussels, clams, and sausage. The shrimp was a bit overcooked but definitely high quality - but my favorite was the chicken. The skin was incredibly crispy, and the inside was just as good. The amount of chicken provided in the mixto paella was also impressive The vegetables in the vegetarian paella also did their part; tasting both fresh and filling Along with a drink, the price ended up being roughly $60 per person. The appetizers are way overpriced in my opinion - some being over $20 for something that's not a lot. While the paellas are more expensive, they're also just so much bigger One odd thing: the server felt very short with us, like they weren't making an effort to provide good service. I wonder if the 20% automatic gratuity has anything to do with this - because they feel like they don't need to be polite since there's no additional tip coming anyway Overall, it's a nice, albeit expensive place, but if you were to come here, I would order one paella for every 4-5 people and that's about it. 8/10

A nice place with decent food. When we visited in the evening, it seemed like there wasn’t enough staff, so the service was a bit lacking. The hot dishes arrived before the cold ones, which felt a bit off. We sat at the bar, and right in front of us was a large crate where dirty glasses were being collected—not the most pleasant or hygienic sight.

Every once in awhile I have a meal that makes me sit back and take a deep breath and contemplate why I was put on this planet. The biscuits and gravy w fried chicken thigh is one of these sorts of meals. If I hadn’t ordered the chicken I think I would’ve been pretty dang satisfied. However with the chicken in the equation, this dish took me to another level. It was like the scene in the grinch where his heart grows but it actually happened and it was me and not the grinch. Wow. Just wow. Thanks for that. Also our server was super cute w a dope sternum tat, very kind and attentive. I hope their new life changes go well. Worth mentioning, the rooftop seating here is gorg and the prices are very reasonable considering how bomb the whole experience was. I will wholeheartedly recommend brunch here to anybody. Nice classical music in BG too.

Overall this was a good experience. Went here with a large group from work and I didn't set it up, so I don't know what they called it.. but it was an experience where we pretty much had every plate. It was pretty darn good. No real complaints. Service was good. They weren't super attentive though, showing up eventually to refresh drinks, etc. It was plenty of food for the group. I do believe there was a minimum headcount required, and they charged us for that even though we had less people show.
